Henry Dance Studio Grand Opening

As I set foot into the brand new studio, I saw the two young dancers within the four walls of mirror, embracing themselves in the music with their graceful dance moves . Dance is your pulse, your heartbeat, your breathing . It's the rhythm of your life . It's the expression in time and movement, in happiness, joy, sadness and envy .

Yes, this is the grand opening of the brand new studio for Henry Dance Studio .

Loud cheers of greetings, blaring sounds of the Latin music as well as the presence of well-wishes made the celebration grand . It was filled with pomp and galore . A sumptuous spread of delicacy and cuisine kept everyone satiating their gastronomical needs . One by one, the students of Henry Dance Studio took the opportunity to dance with the music . Many cheered the nervous ones to perform and some chucked at the antics of their friends .

The air conditioned studio with comfortable sofas and a massive stretch of space for dancing is a far cry from the original studio at Jalan Imbi . This enlightened the students in all aspects .

I have always enjoyed music and dance and have been interested in its history. As a result of this class, I have a much greater appreciation for the sound, rhthym, dance, spirit and cultural significance of the Latin American dance. Now, when I think of it, I hear the beat of the drums and my feet begin to move to the echo of the clave in my head......
